This sparkling concert of French piano music promises to create the Spring mood and joyful atmosphere for the Mother’s Day weekend.

The performance programme – subtle and charming, colourful and festive, enchanting and playful – is full of French musical flavours.

It will be performed by the wonderful and highly acclaimed artists Katya Apekisheva and Charles Owen, who return for their second performance with Crescendo Foundation.

The performance will be complimented by Charles Owen’s fascinating insights on French music shared with the audience in a very engaging and charming way.

This fascinating programme is taking the audience on a journey through the history of the Waltz. Natalia Strelchenko, a Norwegian pianist of Russian origin will perform some of the best and greatest waltzes ever written. The brilliance of the performance will be enhanced by Natalia’s engaging commentary on the historic development of the “king of dances” from its origin to the blossom and the eventual decline.

The evening of the works by Jewish composers and Jewish traditional songs will be led by the renown Israeli violinist Evgenia Epshtein together with the pianist Evgenia Startseva and the singer Tami Tal.

We continue our family concert series AROUND THE WORLD OF MUSIC. The performance of the acclaimed pianist Yuri Paterson-Oleich will focus on Ètudes-Tableaux, op. 39, the last substantial Rachmaninov’s composition written before leaving Russia for the United States.

The concert is presented by Bryce Morrison, professor of The Royal Academy of music, a celebrated critic, broadcaster and teacher.

An Evening of Classical Guitar with Jonathan Wiseman

We continue our family concert series AROUND THE WORLD OF MUSIC. 

The next stop is SPAIN with its narrow cobbled streets, warm afternoons, delicious tapas and of course magic sounds of the Spanish guitar …
The performance of a prizewinning classical guitarist Jonathan Wiseman will be accompanied by an illustrated talk.

 As usual the concert will be followed by drinks and canapés reception.

The recital of the magnificent Russian pianist Evgeny Samoyloff is entirely devoted to Tchaikovsky’s music.
Tchaikovsky’s miniatures from The Seasons will unfold an atmosphere of the colourful Russian nature and Russian life and the Nutcracker suite will bring a real magic of the fairytale. This suite, arranged for piano by the Russian pianist Mikhail Pletnev is rarely performed because of its breathtaking virtuosity. Evgeny is one of the few pianists who is proud to include this masterpiece in his repertoire.
